Booking Information



Note; WE ARE A SCOUT CAMPSITE and DO NOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.

For Large Camps and Whole Site bookings, please read the associated text on the "Site Restrictions" tab.

For all camps, to make a booking, please use the OSM system (Online Scout Manager)

To book a Campsite at Lyons Copse


If this your first time booking on the new Lyons Copse OSM system then use the following link (For Lyons Copse OSM click here)
Click on the View Available and Book Online Today bar at the bottom of the screen.
Then Scroll down the Facilities available and scroll across to the date being considered, to see if available.
Clicking on the Book Online Today button will take you to the Log On screen.
If new (First time user of our OSM system) you can Create an Account here.

If you have used the system before you can use your account log-in details to access the OSM Booking System. (For OSM click here)

How to make a booking

To see what dates are available go to Lyons Copse OSM system (For OSM click here)

You can then add your activities to the booking, you can only book paid activities via the system. If you are not ready to book activities at this stage, you can make a separate booking at any time in the future, if it is before the fees due date (7 Days before visit). All free activities such as campfire, low ropes etc are bookable with the duty warden on arrival at the site.

Note if no items are available to select then you are either within the minimum booking period for the campsite (7 days) or trying to book when the campsite has already been booked for a period of exclusive use. Under these circumstances please select another date or email bookings@lyonscopse.org.uk to discuss your requirements.

All Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless the building/site can be re-let.

Camping without payment of full fees is not permitted.


Please note

  • Large Camp or Whole Site bookings at Bank Holiday weekends have a minimum of three nights stay.
  • Booking Lyons Lodge at a weekend has a minimum of two nights stay.


Thinking of having Fireworks on the site, THEN THINK AGAIN, see the note on Fireworks below.

Fireworks. Firework events are NOT permited on site, regardless of group size, with the exception of a residential groups.
Resident groups (staying for at least one night) may have a small firework displays, but no visitors for the event are permitted.
